Cypress Wellhead Services, Inc. was incorporated October 15, 1983 in
the state of Texas. Our first year in business was a booming success.
We repaired, built, greased, painted, and tested wellhead equipment. This
became quite a task for one small company.
On October 20, 1984 C.W. Oil Field Sales, Inc was incorporated in the
state of Texas, C.W. Oil field is the selling company and Cypress Wellhead
Services, Inc. is the servicing company.
With both companies up and running, we were able to succeed and build
an outstanding reputation in the wellhead business. Dealing with several
major petroleum companies at one time was very challenging.
January 1985, we began our Preventative Maintenance Program. We
grease all valves on land or offshore. If repairs are needed, we are able to
repair most valves on location. Our service technicians are specially
trained to not only grease and lubricate the equipment, but also repair. Our
greasing units are on skids with diesel air compressors and special exhaust
(approved by M.M.S.) for offshore safety. We can move quickly
between land locations or offshore platforms.
We manufacture and service new and refurbished wellhead, valves, and
tree assemblies in our plant, located twenty-three miles northwest of
Houston in Cypress Texas. Installed in our plant are test pumps which
will allow us to test equipment to 50,000PSI with a test chart on every
test, hydro or gas. This provides the flexibility to test low and very high
pressure equipment. Our facility and engineering experience helps us to
provide our customers with the very highest quality control, as required by
ISO 9001:2000 and T-2 field services for both land and offshore. These
standards are the same on refurbished equipment, which allows us to
provide the same guarantee on refurbished equipment and saving our
customers money when refurbished wellhead and trees can be substituted.
